This page lists every cookie GLOBARIS sets, what each is for and how long it lasts. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary ones is set until you allow it.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser so it can recognise you on the next page — to keep you signed in, to remember that you chose Czech, or to count visits.

How we use them

We group cookies into three categories. The first is always on, because the site cannot work without it. The other two stay off until you turn them on.

Needed to sign you in and to remember your language and currency. Always on — the site cannot work without them.

Changing your mind

Choose Cookie settings in the footer of any page to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as consenting: one click on Reject non-essential.

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you signing in, and will make the site forget your language and currency.

A note about advertising

This site carries advertising from Google. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland and you do not consent to advertising cookies, we do not load the advertising script at all.

We do not currently operate a Google-certified consent management platform under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. In practice that means visitors in those regions who do accept advertising see non-personalised or limited ads rather than personalised ones.
